Extension for Vandoren V16 Bari Sax

Your baritone sax is playing sharp, you pull the mouthpiece out and out until it is barely on the cork and is wobbly.
You even lift the neck tenor partway up out of the receiver and finally, it is playing in tune. But the mouthpiece is falling off the neck. What do you do?
Well, these extensions might be the best, least expensive solution for you. Made out of Delrin, they slide over the shank of your mouthpiece and add an extra inch to the shank. The extension is a tight fit…no need for glue or caulk. It is such a tight fit that it can be hard to get it on and off if you don’t have the grip strength. If need be, you can use a hair blow dryer to warm it enough to make it flexible. Don’t use one of those industrial heat guns…they’ll melt it. Or just give it to a ham-handed friend.
This extension is for the Otto Link Tone Edge (HR) Bari Sax mouthpiece. It is designed to fit the modern production Babbitt mouthpieces. The vintage Link bari mouthpieces have a different size shank.
I usually have one or two or stock, drop me a line and ask.
