Heisig Tenor Mouthpiece
I know nothing for sure about this mouthpiece. I think some guy (Heisig by name) on the West Coast customizes or “perfects” Selmer S80 mouthpieces (sometimes generically referred to as a “C-star”). This mouthpiece has all the appearances of having started its life as a Selmer mouthpiece. You can see the faint “Made in France” stamp and the interior through is the characteristic square shape.
This is an excellent condition hard rubber tenor sax mouthpiece. Very, very faint tooth wear. Side rails and tip rail in great condition.
I measure the tip opening at 0.074″ and the facing length as 23mm.
